How to Pick the Best Valorant Crosshair
There's no single "best" crosshair — the right one depends on your resolution, monitor size and playstyle. Here's what actually matters when choosing one.
Start with visibility, not looks
A crosshair only helps if you can see it clearly against Valorant's maps. Bright, high-contrast colors like white, cyan or green generally read better than dark or saturated colors that blend into backgrounds like Bind's sand or Icebox's snow.
Keep the center clear
Most strong crosshairs leave a gap in the middle so the point you're aiming at isn't covered. This is why dot crosshairs and small cross shapes with an inner gap are common among consistent players — the crosshair marks a spot without blocking your view of it.
Match the size to your aim style
Smaller crosshairs give a more precise reference point and work well for players who track slowly and deliberately. Slightly larger crosshairs are easier to keep track of during fast flicks and close-range fights. If you're not sure which you prefer, try a small dot first — it's the easiest to build consistent habits around.
Test before committing
Import a code, play a few rounds in a range or deathmatch, and pay attention to whether you're second-guessing your aim point. A crosshair that needs constant conscious attention usually isn't the right fit — the right one should fade into the background while you play.
